Jizzakh, Korea enhance collaboration



Jizzakh Regional Department for Ecology and Environmental Protection hosted a press conference with the participation of the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI) on the implementation of the project “Closing the existing landfills in Jizzakh region, building new modern landfills and strengthening their material and technical base”.

The event was attended by leaders and employees of Jizzakh Regional Hokimiyat, the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection and its regional, district and city branches, representatives of the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute and several Korean companies.

At the conference, it was noted that the project “Creation of mobile stations for reloading solid domestic waste, construction of new and optimization of existing solid waste landfills in cities and districts of Jizzakh region” is funded by the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute and implemented in cooperation with YUSHIN, SEJIN and SEYUN companies.
